Are these insulated spigots suitable for a deck ? Insulated Stainless Steel Pool Fence Spigot (Base Plated or Core Drill) - Black, White or Grey - NO EARTHING REQUIRED!
Hi thanks for contacting Fence Guru. If by deck you mean something that is raised off the ground and will need to comply with balustrading Australian standards, the answer is no. If however, it is a timber or concrete deck around a pool, absolutely. They will just need to be installed with the correct fixing kits for the material they are being installed into. Here are the links for the timber fixing kits for spigots and base plated posts, and here is the link to the fixing kits for concrete. If you are fixing into concrete, you will also be required to use a chemical anchor to achieve compliance.
