Hi, no. Silicon is not usually inside spigots. The grub screws and packing inside the spigot are enough as long as it is installed correctly. If you mean channels for a semi frameless set up, I'm not sure what the standard installation procedure is for that system. Seek further advice from your supplier or do some research online.
